TDSheridanlab v2 has Started!

Hello Everyone,

I’m happy to announce that the TDSheridanLab version 2 has official started being built. My wife and I have been moving into our new house over this last week, so one of the first priorities was to get internet up and running.

In the picture above we have an Arris Surfboard 6141 that is connected to MediaCom 150mbps down/ 20mbps up internet connection. The modem is connected to a Watchguard T30-W firewall. The wireless functionality has been disabled because in the house we will be using 2 Aruba IAP-325 access points once they come in. The Switch is a Cisco SG300-20, which is a layer 3 switch and has an almost identical cli to Cisco iOS. Protecting all of the above equipment is a Cyberpower OR500LCDRM1U.

The 4 cables to the side are a temporary connection to my Plex server. I had to get Plex up and running for a little relaxation time after unpacking all day.

The the lower patch panel was installed by Pulte Home’s low voltage contractor Phase Electric. I wasn’t exactly thrilled with their cable management system. I’ll be fixing it over time.

I better get back to unpacking so I can find my Server Rack bolts and bring the rest of my servers home from my office and start making some tutorials for you guys.
